F541UA USB3 speed issues

Hi,

I don't know where to ask this, so here we are.

I have an F541UA notebook, and the USB3 port is only getting 30MB/s throughput. I have a brand new 4TB Seagate drive connecting to it and copying is very slow. Connecting the drive to a co-workers HP gets ~111MB/s. I have deleted the USB3.0 drivers and tried reinstalling them to no avail.

Where do I find drivers for this device in Windows 10? Windows® 10 Intel® USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller Driver des not exist. Intel says that Windows must install it automatically, but the speeds are stupid slow.

I checked the BIOS and there were no options to enable the USB3 controller, so that was a dead end.

I uninstalled and re-installed this driver numerous tiles, and it seems to be working now.
