My CPU fans are stuck at very high RPM (~2350RPM) despite my CPU temperature being quite low (~30 degrees).
I have an ASUS Maximums VI Formula motherboard.
I have tried adjusting BIOS settings. I have set the CPU fans to 'advanced mode' in the BIOS.
I have downloaded various software to try and control the fan speeds: SpeedFan and Fan Control. I have also managed to setup AI suite 3 despite issues with AsusFanControlService initially making things difficult. I am able to adjust the fan speeds of my GPU fan and the rear chassis fan fine using these softwares but nothing allows me to adjust the CPU fan.
This is all I can see regarding the CPU fan in AI suite 3.
All these issues begun after I performed a system clean on my machine. Since then I have performed a complete system reset so cannot return to the previous state before the clean.
