I just found out that the best software is ShadowPlay included in Gefore Experience Suite.

Very very professional, user friendly and smooth, you wont actually notice its recording. It also has a very nice FPS counter.

Yup if you got Nvidia card you should be using Shadowplay since it will definitely be fastest solution if you have Nvidia card. Don't know about ATI or Intel graphics.
Actually, Windows 10 now ships with ability to record video of gameplay but it's pretty slow and terrible from what I've seen. Used it record video on my weak powered tablet that runs Intel HD video since Shadowplay obviously don't work on it and Intel doesn't offer anything like Shadowplay from what I can tell. Think AMD has something like shadowplay but I haven't owned an ATI card since the rage one's that came with composite adapter that let you record from old VCR tape.

Also, if you got a 900 series Nvidia card it actually does do hardware encoding of the video that's why you can record up to 4k now if you have one.
Q: What's the performance impact of ShadowPlay?
A: In most games, you shouldn't see a noticeable pe...

I did some recording in valley and heaven benchmarks using Shadowplay at 4k, 60fps at 130 bit per sec.
you can see here difference in results at the end of test, there are both results when recording and added results without recording.

I glanced abit around and couldn't find card or any other external device that records at 4k, 60fps.

Mirillis Action! currently at version 1.29.00 have issues when running in SLI so it isn't really usable at 4k resolutions right now as you definitely wanna run in SLI in that case.

And I still haven't found something to record triple screen 4k nicely 🙂

Sadly true.
I wonder if three video capture hardware devices would work, though?

card is not of much use for me as all my comps have 4 GPUs in place for rendering so no room for another PCI card

If you don't have an Nvidia card to use Shadowplay then you can buy Action Mirillis which is fantastic, It has near zero performance cost and can record 1080P 60FPS gameplay no problem.

Yes it is a purchase but it's a long term investment and very cheap and comes with a free trial.

The best real-time video capture would run in hardware, not software. With essentially zero impact on system performance.

A few of the MSI gaming mobos have dedicated media streaming chips. I've never used them (and reviews about these hardware features range from excellent to awful) but I do know that they add a lot to the final mobo price - it would cost less to purchase any of the many USB-powered video capture devices on market (and they're basically all capable of 1920x1080 60fps or better), plus you'd have another nifty USB gizmo you could move from platform to platform or tangle up in a junk drawer.

Tnx man for the insight.

I did record GTA 5 and Dragon Age: Inquisition for 5 mins as a Maxout proof wanted to prepare. I used Shadow play and boy ... it does what it does best. Amazing capture quality with very nice and effective Hotkeys. Never noticed a single Glitch although I maxed out those 2 games.

Unfortunately my net speed is very slow in uploading so could not upload them but Shadow Play is if not the best at least among the best 3 I guess.

This is so stupid ,when someone is saying "this program does not affect FPS Drop " . Firstly all the programs that record desktop screen may cost huge rate of FPS drop from CPU & GPU around 30% you lose performance of both of them ...! Actually i always use Miliries ACTION! ,this impressive program contain many specific options that no other programs have . Is you can "stop/resume" video recording anytime ,it cost less effort from hardware , for example when i record skyrim 1080+60 . The FPS stuck at 60 but sometimes drop to 50-40 when i go inside some cities ,so this depends on graphic card & CPU .... Believe me , everyone who are saying "no FPS drop " are dump idiots because i tried many & many programs and all what they say just Fake & lies information ... The only basic way to record with no FPS drop is using alternative device like Elgato 60 .
