Using the Asus ME Update Tool and then checking for vulnerability
MB: Prime x299 Deluxe 2
Clean installation, Win10 x64 1909
Installed all the drivers. Used the Asus MEUpdateTool to patch the ME vulnerability.

Intel has a diagnostic tool that supposedly checks for what the Asus MEUpdateTool patches.

still.....shows that my system is vulnerable.
Question: Is this a problem ? Has anyone tried this diagnostic tool, I'd be curious of the results.
Question: I'm not entirely sure exactly what the MEUpdateTool is patching or if you even need it. Perhaps if you have the latest bios and chipset+MEI drivers, do you need to patch ?
