Aura version 1.05.22 is now available for download, you can download it at the link below:

Patch notes:
1) Added new feature to now allow for direct key-in (0-255 range) for RGB value
2) Fixed compatibility issues between AURA and Armoury software

Having an issue where it does not remember the settings after i have shutdown.

I have S5 enabled in Bios, added Aura to startup.

I would like to have LED off on shutdown, which seems to work if i reconfigure Aura every time i boot, it also forgets my preferences.

From what i read, this is a known issue. Are there any ideas when next update is due?

S4/S5 both enabled in ur bios should so the trick in saving the settings try that .

I have both S4/S5 state mode activated but it still doesn't remember my color scheme.

both the current and the new 5.22 crash when opening
I have uninstalled both used the cleaner and manually deleted everything related to aura in regedit and reinstalled with the same error

Ok been observing the way the LED reset itself after waking up either on Hibernate or sleep mode. It seems when the Screen is loading on the ROG screen (not the windows logo) that transition to the windows Login screen, theres a slight paused until it loads the windows login screen.

Hibernate/sleep - mobo LED status setting is as i've set them.
Wake up - LED setting for whole pc still as how ive saved them
ROG loading - LED setting for whole pc still as how ive saved them
Short Paused before loading the Windows Login screen - ALL LED switched off
WIndows Login screen - LEDS reset.

If been observing quite some time now and reporting what i've notice for my pc. Anybody else has the same symptom? it seems consistent .

Hey mate,

Well documented issue over the past few pages that is already recognised. Revert back to the previous version and it will remember. Apparently new update coming along shortly.

Thank you to those who provided back with the requested information, I have passed all of it over and hope that they can replicate this issue as soon as possible and offer an updated version to address this. For now I would also recommend reverting back to v1.05.16.

I just unistall it from program files, restart computer and install .16 version. My old settings on .16 come to me directly. Maybe unistall procedure not delete everything likemaybe color profiles and make this problem ?

Not sure exactly on what you mean but we're definitely looking into it. If there are left over files when uninstalling, please try using the AURA cleaner tool.

Because you locked my thread I'll repost here.

Yet another issue with junk asus software.

After updating to Aura V1.05.22 every time my PC sleeps, restarts or shuts down my RGB lighting gets reset and everything goes back to the stupid rainbow vomit defaults.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Issue is still there.

Same Issue - Does not save LED settings. After I shutdown PC led's turn red in breathing mode although computer is off. I have to switch off the PSU for the LED's to turn off.
when booting PC Led's turn on(red) and turn off completely when windows starts. I ahve to open the software and configure all settings again.
