Let's talk about this aura sync's real situation. Totally flawed and many errors ... I consume 7 and 8% of cpu and absurd it ... Asus does not care about its customers. Outdated and faulty LIVEDASH.

I use version 1.07.55 and it only uses .7% CPU on my PC and is 100% working.
I think it all depends on your specific system (OS Version, installed Apps, etc) and what Version of Aura you use.

Sorry But I have 1.07.55 working perfectly and I do NOT want to have to go through the process necessary to completely remove it.
From my experience Uninstalling Aura tends to leave a LOT behind that needs to be cleaned up before installing a new version with any chance of getting it to work fully.
Also the newest version listed for MY motherboard (ROG Strix B450-F) is Version 1.07.57.
If I was you I would try some older versions listed on Your MB support page and see if you can get them to work.

Just tried Aura version 1.07.71 on my Z-390E ROG Strix on BIOS 1105. The aura finally work without crashing BUT the I/O shield RGB and RGB output still F***ED UP. No matter what I do with the BIOS AURA setting still remain the same. SUch a simple flaw yet ASUS not bothered to resolve it. Compared with my ASUS B-450F Strix I/O shield RGB is not affected.

1. The BIOS/firmware version for your hardware.
Z370F Bios Version 2001

2. The AURA SYNC products you own and any other 3rd-party lighting software.
Asus Strix Z370F Motherboard, Patriot Viper RGB, Akasa Vegas Magnetic LED 50cm

3. If a power cycle has made any difference. (Shutdown, power off, unplug power cable for a minute)
Nope. Even with Erp Enable and LED Bios option off, the led on Motherboard stay on.

4. If you have tried reinstalling Aura or Windows already.
Yes, tried every version from 1.06.17 up to 1.07.71 and reinstall Windows twice already.

5. Do you have Aura for Graphics Cards installed also. (Please uninstall)
No

6. Windows Edition, Version, and OS build.
Windows 10 Pro , 1903

7. If the same issue was present in the previous version(s).
Never get it to work

8. State clearly the issue(s) you are experiencing.
After trying many trick found in forums here and there, I got the Aura software version 1.06.17 installed, Then, I reinstall LightingService version 1.07.71. This is the only combination I got the Aura software opened without crashing nor missing LightingService.

Anyway, the problem is Aura software only detect the Patriot Ram. Neither the motherboard nor LED strip are detected. I also tried reenable the LED option in bios (both normal and power saving state) couple time but no dice. Both LED on motherboard and the strip keep flashing in one pattern. When turn the system off, the LED on strip and memory are off, but the one on motherboard changed to breathing mode despite when I set it to off in bios.

Asus should maybe let another compagny doing the Aura update and fix (or a combination Aura/Armoury software), because this is too much wait... Since 2017 there is issues with Aura , come on !

All rgb modes except the Motherboard mode work perfectly fine with my case. The problem is that the brightness is extremely low so that it's barely visible. It shouldn't be a hardware issue since the other modes work fine at high brightness. Also the glowing area is much smaller than in other modes. pls fix

I had the exact same problem with my Helios and X570-E Gaming motherboard. RGB MB mode on the chassis would only light up one single LED. Not sure what motherboard you're using but what I believe solved this issue for me was updating the BIOS from 7010 to 1005. Hopefully this may help you in some way.
