Aura used to work before the MB bios 2203 update. I also had issues with iCUE on a new H100i RGB Platinum, but a new software update fixed that.

I've now uninstalled all Asus software, since it's so unreliable. At least iCUE works and the corsair employees fix the problems, unlike Asus.

On my previous PC (P8Z77-V Deluxe, 3550k, 2080 o8g) I could use Aura to control my GPU. Don't know the versions from there.
EDIT: Just installed 1.07.36 and it's working. Only problem is, that if I try to open the aura app I get "an administrator has blocked you from running this app". If I start it from an admin power shell it works.

At the moment I use AURA_V1.07.55 but installed from the former release (AURA_W10_64_VER10751_20190403B) the "AacVGASetup.exe" from this folder: AURA_W10_64_VER10751_20190403B\LightingService\aac

In my CH7 BIOS I changed the lighting option to OFF and VGA appeared in Aura Sync (10757) and the same with Aura ONLY, as per the options in this screenshot.
The problem is that I can't control the VGA rgb and any changes only affect the MB lighting. Although I did manage to change the lighting on the GPU once, but when I clicked YES to save changes, the GPU reverted to its previous colour.
I'll keep playing with it, but clearly this software, which I have installed/reinstalled over fifty times now, is unacceptably unstable and Asus need to address this issue right now.

CPU: i9-9900k

1. The BIOS/firmware version for your hardware.
(MB) 0905 (04/10/2019)

2. The AURA SYNC products you own and any other 3rd-party lighting software.
The afforementioned MB and Asus PG27-UQ ( not connected for Aura Sync as it locks up the system when connected ) iCue for my Corsair KM780 ( used to use Claymore but Armory caused even more problems with Aura ) Light strips all connected via RGB 12v Header. Also, using Gskill trident z rgb 3600 ram, 64 gb. Also have precision x1 installed for the EVGA cards

3. If a power cycle has made any difference. (Shutdown, power off, unplug power cable for a minute)
No

4. If you have tried reinstalling Aura or Windows already.
Aura: yes
Windows: it's a fresh install

5. Do you have Aura for Graphics Cards installed also. (Please uninstall)
no. doesn't work for EVGA cards

6. Windows Edition, Version, and OS build.
Win 10, version 1809, Build 17763.437

7. If the same issue was present in the previous version(s).
the issues started day before yesterday. everything worked fine. now, only 1.06.17 works ( which doesn't sync ram )

8. State clearly the issue(s) you are experiencing.
as stated above, everything worked fine until two days ago. Now with version that worked (1.07.36 ) it pops an administrative error saying program is blocked and cannot run. 1.07.57 just won't open. says program "stops working" I have performed uninstall of service, then aura, then ran aura cleaner, then cc cleaner. to make sure it was uninstalled with "no traces" prior to install.

this is what 1.07.36 does: ( first image )

Same for me, tested on 2 PCS, and it regularly gives the error in Windows 10 that it stopped working. Also colors seem to reset after each reboot.
