AURA Sync does not detect motherboard. Only device it detects is the Corsair RAM. AURA is able to configure the RAM sticks with no issue. AURA also does not detect the GPU or CLC.

6. OS build/version: Win10-64 Home
7. If the issue was present in the previous version(s) - First time using (Installing previous versions did not help)

Try this, go into the folder where you downloaded the latest version of Aura Sync. From there go into the "Lighting Service" folder and you will see a folder called "aac". Go into that folder, there will be a bunch of Aac####.exe files. Click each one to uninstall. After you are done you may either choose to reinstall the ones you need or all. Make sure to right click and give Admin rights when you re-install each .exe. I only re-installed 4 of the exe's, 1. Display 2.MB 3. Terminal and 4.VGA. And last but not least, reboot. After I did that Aura Sync sees my mobo again. Hopefully this helps you and others.

As stupid as it might sound, try to reset the CMOS by removing the battery for a few secs. I had the same issue with the Z390-E motherboard and only the memory was being detected but no motherboard. I spent hours and hours researching and trying different things and version of Aura with no luck. Someone recommended resetting CMOS and just tried it since it couldn't hurt. Surprisingly that fixed the issue.

1. The BIOS/firmware version for your hardware.
ASUS ROG STRIX Z370-F GAMING Bios Version 1601 - 11. Nov 18
ASUS GeForce GTX 1070 ROG STRIX 8GB Gaming (NVIDIA Driver 417.58) and current Bios

2. The AURA SYNC products you own and any other 3rd-party lighting software.
Lighting_Control_1.07.22.1 / ASUS GPU Tweak II V1.9.3.0

3. If a power cycle has made any difference. (Shutdown, power off, unplug power cable for a minute)
After deinstalling and reinstalling Lightning Control and a Reboot, the graphic card is missing in AURA. Same effect after the procedure written before.

4. If you have tried reinstalling Aura or Windows already.
AURA yes / Windows no

5. Do you have Aura for Graphics Cards installed also. (Please uninstall)
Uninstalled and everything in cache removed

6. OS build/version.
Windows 10 x64 18.09

7. If the issue was present in the previous version(s).
Yes

Please Include a screenshot of the Aura UI, and any other pictures if applicable.
For the moment Aura is working until the next reboot, so no screenshot.
Edit: Included after a reboot.77996

Is your issue that the graphics card isn't detected by Aura and GPU Tweak?

Correct.

At the moment I use this "workaround" to keep it running:
https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?101543-SOFTWARE-AURA-Sync-RGB

Hello,
today I got my new PC with Asus Aura compatible Case, Motherboard and RAM. I was really glad when everything was working with the Aura Sync, but then I started Fortnite and it gave me this error: "Easy Anti-Cheat: Game Security Violation Detected (#0000000D) [LightingService.exe]". So then I looked the error up on the internet and found out that LightingService.exe is a service of the Aura Sync software that won't let you play any games with Easy Anti-Cheat when it's running in the background. I also had the same issue with Rainbow Six Siege (which also uses Easy Anti-Cheat). If you kill this service in Task-Manager you can start the games, but then the RBG stops and stays at the same color. It's a really annoying bug and already existing for like a year and the developer of this software still hasn't take action. Also I'm not the only person who has the problem, many other users have the same annoying bug. So now you could tell it's the fault of EAC (and yeah I know that this ****ty anti cheat returns many false positive results), but if you ask e.g. the Epic Games Support, they also tell you to go to Asus support and it's not their fault.

I really don't think this is so god damn hard to fix even if I don't know much about programming.

I hope the developer reads this and starts to take action!

My System:

Mainboard: Asus ROG Strix B350-F Gaming (Bios Version 4207 - 2018/12/13)
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 1800X
RAM: 16GB G.Skill Trident Z RGB DDR4-3000
GPU: KFA2 GTX 1060 6gb
Case: Sharkoon TG5 RGB

Software version in use: Lighting_Control_1.07.22.1

Windows and Aura Sync are both fresh installed

Best reagards, gehrunde

I have a motherboard asus rog strix b450-f gamingI updated the Paius and downloaded the latest version of the program AURA SYNC
But unfortunately only one part which is located above the protection works in addition to ROG-STRIX-RX580-T8G-GAMING Also only the ROG-STRIX-RX580-T8G-GAMING logo has worked well
In addition to g skill trident rgb Also do not work and never see it inside a program AURA SYNC

Is there a solution to all these problems?
Or did I commit crap when I bought asus rog strix b450

Oh miracle. Today I turned on the PC and was surprised that the sound of the aura worked! Asus - great! ty!:o

crashniels
Level 7
1. Crosshair VII hero (wifi) latest bios (0804)
2. Motherboard, Corsair Vengeance RGB, RGB Fans; Corsair Keyboard & Mouse are controlled via ICue
3. No difference 😞
4. Only Aura so far.
5. 1803 windows
6. No it was not.

My Corsair Vengeance RGB does not show up in AURA. And the SDK seems to be broken. Everything starts flickering rapidly as soon as i try and use it. Probably since the SDK was changed recently but no documentation was provided. Everything worked fine with 1.06.17. Also cant seem to be able to downgrade. The issue still persists now. 😞
