AURA SYNC 1.06.95 - Report Issues Here

To better understand which issues you are currently experiencing, I will be collecting your feedback for 2 weeks to let the team know. Please provide feedback before Sept. 25, thanks!

If you are not on the latest version, update to 1.06.95 to make debugging faster, please remember to mention:
1. The BIOS/firmware version for your hardware.
2. The AURA SYNC products you own and any other 3rd-party lighting software.
3. If a power cycle has made any difference. (Shutdown, power off, unplug power cable for a minute)
4. If you have reinstalled Aura or Windows.
5. If the issue was present in the previous versions(s)?

Still no synchronization with PG27VQ. Any proposals? USB Hub is connected and the Aura Sync function is activated via OSD.

I just got a Strix RX580 T8G and running it on my Asus B150 Aura Pro Gaming ATX motherboard.

Installed latest version of Aura sync 1.06.95 which uninstalled my old version of lighting control(V1.00.13) by default.

Problem is it doesn't find my motherboard, only the Strix.

Older two versions of Aura Sync on the website find the motherboard and not the Strix.

tried remove aura via control panel, Aura Cleaner, tested older versions, powered pc off, removed cable as per Asus instructions to no avail.

Is there a fix for this so I can control Mobo and Gcard from Aura??

Hi!

So, i have just bought myself a new laptop, Asus ROG GL504GM. However, i have installed the Aura sync 1.06.95, and i love the rainbow feature. However when i turn the laptop on, it works and circles as it's supposed to do, but after an hour or so, the cycling stops and whatever else configuration i choose to use the lighting just doesn't respond. The only thing i can do to make it work again is to restart the machine. Please help!

I have the Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB 16GB 2x8 3000mHz kit and Asus Aura does not detect that it is there. It worked with my previous Corsair Vengeance RGB (non pro version) but does not with this. I'm assuming it's not supported yet but i'll add to the thread lol. Running an i7-8700k and GTX 1080.

2. The AURA SYNC products you own and any other 3rd-party lighting software: Asus Strix GTX 1080 and Z370-E Mobo - Phanteks Case Fans with Halo RGB's and LED Strips.

3. If a power cycle has made any difference. (Shutdown, power off, unplug power cable for a minute):No difference with all options tried.4. If you have reinstalled Aura or Windows: Reinstalled Aura - Made no difference

5. If the issue was present in the previous versions(s)? :Not sure as I just got the RAM kit today.

BIOS: 1401 (ROG Rampage VI Extreme)
AURA SYNC products: ROG PG27UQ, ROG Rampage VI Extreme with LED and ADD_HEADER used, G.Skill RGB ram
No difference power cycle
Works fine with 1.06.17

Gets stuck applying, ADD_HEADER not applying effects, monitor not changing at all, certain effects broken, basically doesn't work at all. Tried unlinking monitor, got stuck after that and software wouldn't even start anymore, so downgraded to 1.06.17 and it works fine again.

This build seems to be completely broken (at least for my system)

I have a Intel 8600k stock with 16GB RAM and GTX 1060 6GB. Running Aura Sync 1.06.95 and BIOS 1002. ASUS Prime Z370-A

When using Color Cycle, Rainbow and all the other similar effects, I get strange CPU spikes with Lighting Service which causes games to drop from 60+ FPS down to the 40s. Running static and Smart does not cause this and the Lighting Service doesn't use much CPU if any.

Currently only have RGB RAM Corsair 2x8GB kit. Non-Pro. I have disable the lighting effect on the RAM and the just the lighting on the Motherboard still causes the CPU to use 5-7% constantly.

Are the effect not supposed to be used when playing games or doing other demanding things on the computer?

I cant sync my Ballistix RGB with Aura (Rog Strix B360-F) Aura does not even detect my memories... What should I do? My only option now is try to sync the ROG logo with another effect on MOD software...Help!!!

as far as i know vengeance pro rgb does not work with aura yet.

installed the AURA SYNC 1.06.95 and my patriot viper rgb ram isn't showing up to control it.

Have you uninstalled previous version first? It works well for me, what I did was:
1) go to control panel and uninstall aura and patriot driver
2) go to services and force stop aura services then manually remove leftovers in programfiles (ASUS and LightingServices - both)
3) restart pc
4) run setup.exe
5) another restart

The only thing changed I was able to notice is shutdown rainbow finally fixed.
