I have the same problem here with the "Please reboot your computer to complete the installation" message.

Tried to deinstall, clean the registry with CC Cleaner, AuraCleaner and reinstall but without success. Reinstalling the Nvidia Driver did not work either.
I hope to see a new Version which fixes this issue very soon.

Had the same issue when I installed under Standard User Account "as Admin" and rebooted into Standard User Account.

This solved it for me:
Install Aura under Admin User Account and reboot into Admin User Account, so the installation process can finish its task.

I also tried the firmware flasher which has been linked in this thread. It says in the cmd line that no aura device has been found. Is it because of the release date? Did they change something at the mobos rgb? Or is this the problem?
At the moment mobo icon is shown, but not linked, when I try to change the settings (effect, color) the app freezes. Or Dr dump comes up directly.

I wouldn't spend that much time with trying to fix this, if I don't have to see the result of this app all the time =D

Hi,

Can anyone please tell me how can I have this "STRIP" option on Aura Software when we have a led strip installed?

I've the led strip installed and working, but I can't adjust independently from the rest of the devices or the motherboard!

People that have this "Strip Device" option, can adjust, for example, one color / effect for the strip, different from the color / effect choosen for the MB?!

For example, if I want turn off the led strip (temporarily), leaving the rest on, I can't!

I found this on internet, but I don't have this option:

I REALLY hope the next versions fix the problem with AURA not saving the setting for shutdown...

My computer is in my bedroom, and it is KILLING me that I have to turn it back on every night to change the settings, because the motherboard will be having its own little rave if I dont.

hey, i am running a setup with an ROG IX Hero mobo, a total OF 6 cooler master rgb fans as well as a cooler master rgb liquid cooler so four devices are on my rgb top header and other three on my bottom rgb header. with aura everything is synched perfectly to my mobos already included rgb lights its really nice, especially in music mode but then i got the ROG 1060 strix, it cant do any other shade of blue but a dark one so it just looks wacky when in music mode and full color cycle but as long as the color isnt blue my gpu is in tune with everything els. im just wondering if anyone els here notices this

I've been struck by the missing motherboard in Aura again and unfortunately the power down, pull PSU plug and reset CMOS trick is not cutting it this time. Was there any other solution found for the loss of motherboard detection?

The fact that no one from ASUS will comment on these countless issues speaks volume.

Before pulling the PSU plug and resetting the CMOS uninstall the Aura software. I reinstalled Windows today for other reasons but Aura is working again now that I have reinstalled it. I think when the motherboard becomes not detected in Aura there is an issue with the software as well as the firmware on the motherboard. Usually when this happens the software starts crashing and giving errors. So try uninstalling, clearing CMOS and then reinstalling. Cmon Asus are you looking into this?
