PRESTO.

For the moment is working as it should and there is no notes on the event manager.

I will continue checking these on the weekend.

Tried it still having the same issue. MoBo lights are on cycling normally.

Yep. I did do it and works. but start working again badly. I will leve it in 1 color just is case. It is windows. I am sure. is not the app. since all start on the process. In fact I got some item working, like my mayflower arc correct. took 10 days so I can work with out crash. let see. I am sure that on next windows updates new challenges will arise. But I have the Beta ............. working ok. that will really like a lot of users. (sorry NDA)

I tried this version (1.05.38) but it would crash just crash when trying to run it. The same errors as already reported in this thread.

Aura and my Maximus X Hero are not communicating. The lights are stuck on a breathing effect and don't respond to any Aura software input. Have uninstalled, ran the Aura cleaner, flashed the Aura recovery tool and reset the Bios to no avail. Here you can see Aura is not detecting the motherboard lighting sections/headers:

Edit: Should I not be seeing a motherboard icon next to the add strip icon?

Update: I've re-flashed the Bios firmware and even that has not corrected the LED/Aura issue!

Is anyone who's getting the Aura crashes also missing the motherboard icon next to add strip such as the screen below? This seems to indicate that Aura and the motherboard aren't communicating. I've tried numbers of things and now I'm absolutely stumped.

Hey man I'm not reading 11 pages but this is what got Aura working for me.

-download fresh zip of aura
-right click on the zip, go to properties and unblock
-extract the zip
-run asussetup as admin in the extracted folder

Doesn't work with a fresh win 10 x64 install and Z270G Strix. Upon opening the application I get:
AURA has stopped working

The problem is new and has not yet been fixed in AURA for X99 series.

Don't know why it says X99 series.

Colour Cycle and Breatning still doesn't work with Corsair Vengeance =/

Other than that, I fixed the issue with the program crashing on startup by running as admin..

I've fixed my "stuck" motherboard lighting by shutting down, pulling the PSU plug for five minutes and clearing the CMOS. The motherboard icon in Aura has returned and the software appears to function normally again.

Asus/Aura dev may want to take note. Not sure if this will continue to be an issue.
