I fixed my problem with Aura on ROG StriX Z270F Gaming simply by removing peripherals from my rear i/o

I had an UGEE M708 drawing tablet plugged into one of the rear i/o USB 3.0 52 ports (the ones just beside the ethernet)- unplugged it, everything returned to normal... o.0

Hello,

Someone already figured out how to solve the shutdown problem? Every time i shutdown the PC, when i boot up again, aura lose my settings. Its very annoying.
Thanks in advance.

Sleep and Hip Hop for Music Mode still has errors. DRAM still showing different colours from the rest of the AURA enabled parts. Same goes for the Rainbow Mode.

i just built my first pc
specs:
Z370-F Strix Gaming
Core I5 8600K
16gb (2x8) G.Skill Ripjaws V 2400Mhz
MSI 1060 Gaming X 6gb
DeepCool Gammaxx GT RGB Cpu Tower Cooler
Green 650W 80+ Gold PSU
Samsung 860 EVO 250gb SSD
Western Digital Blue 1TB WD10EZEX

i started the pc and everything was working fine.
but i was having problems with the bios so i updated it to the latest version
but since then the rgb lighting on the motherboard will not turn on.
when i cut the power supply and then turn it back on again the cpu cooler lighting turns on but fades in the matter of minutes.
keep in mind the motherboard rgb light does not turn on whatsoever.

things i have tried :
reinstall and clean install of Asus Aura ( all version available )
reinstalling windows completely and cleanly (full partition wipe of drives and then repartitioning them)
flashing bios to an earlier version.
but the ez flash 3 utility does not allow me to flash it back more than a couple of versions. meaning i cant flashback to the bios included in the dvd. (gives "cant read the bios file" error)

keep in mind that both the rgb lighting options in the BIOS are ON and the ERP is off.

i also tried this https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?99490-Flash-any-most-Asus-motherboard-Bios-in-DOS-with-USB...
but in the DOS page it gives an Error 22 - Problem Allocating Memory. (i posted the full problem in the thread also)

I just got a new graphics card with asus aura and as soon as i installed it the motherboard lights changed from the lights and speed i liked to a very slow and different color scheme. But it also took control of my graphics cards lights and my g.skill ram lights and im not able to change them.

How Can I manage the motherboard leds? (Alpha Hero)

I still can't install Aura. I've had the same issue with the last few versions. It just sits at 0% and never progresses.

You might have to install the reinstall

Try these methods : go to Page 3

https://www.asus.com/campaign/aura/upload/download/20180223060220_m1.pdf

or if all else fails: Try using Bulk Crap Uninstaller
https://sourceforge.net/projects/bulk-crap-uninstaller/?source=directory

I was finally able to get it to install but it now just gets to the part in installation where a cmd window opens but it now just stalls there. I have to force quit the installer. It now says AURA is installed but it just crashes when I try to open it.
