Asus maximus v gene wake on lan
Hello,

Could someone guide me on how to setup Wake on lan on ASUS MAXIMUS V GENE with bios version : 11/09/2012- 1408, I cant seem to find the option in BIOS. Do I need a BIOS upgrade??
Motherboard: Asus Maximus VII Hero
Processor: Intel Core I7 4790K
Ram:G.Skill RipJawsx PC3-12800 1600 Mhz (4*4) GB
Hard Drive: Samsung 840 PRO 120 GB SSD
:Seagate Barracuda 500 GB
Casing: Aerocool Strike x advance
Cooling: Antec Kuhler h20 620
PSU: THERMALTAKE MODULAR TOUGHPOWER GRAND 850W PSU
GPU: Evga GTX 660 Super-clocked

Hello

If using onboard LAN there is nothing that needs to be set from within the UEFI. All settings are done from within the operating system. Win7/8 only support WOL when the system is in the S3 or S4 state. WOL from S4 Hybrid is not supported in Win8. WOL from other states may or may not work depending on system components and drivers.
