Hi! I've performed a clean install and then I installed ASUS Live Update that I downloaded from the drivers section of my model (GL504GM) to install some ASUS programs and uninstalled it right away. The problem is that after uninstalling it every time I reboot, after 5 minutes or so, it keeps popping up in the start menu (and it's fully functional, not just a shortcut). When I uninstall it the respective folder in Programs>ASUS gets deleted but that doesn't help my cause.
I've uninstalled it 3 times and it comes back every time. Never seen such a stubborn piece of software.
Does anyone know how I can get rid of it permanently? Thanks
UPDATE: Turns out, I don't even have to reboot for it to pop up again, I uninstall it and after a while it's back. I checked the task manager and it leads me to this path: C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository. I cannot however delete the folder
UPDATE 2: I gave up and decided to reinstall Windows without this program
