Hey.

Go to start, run and type "mconfig" then the system configuration should pop up on screen. Now go to the start-up tab and make sure GPU Tweak is checked. If GPU Tweak isn't there, try to uninstall the application again and do a registry cleaning, I recommend using CCleaner:

http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner

Then install the application again, change the settings again and restart the PC. When did this issue began? it seems to me is registry problems.

Hey!
Tnx for your advise! Unless 4 me troubles were getting out of hand so I had to do a clean reinstall for W7, and now GPU Tweak is working optimal! But the next time i give it a try. I think this will allso work 4 the Phoebus program, after a reinstal it most of the time's gives me some troubles!

No problem, if it does it again make to follow these steps. Registry files can be corrupted easily by not installing or uninstalling software's completely etc., which cause these small issues to happen.

GPU Tweak is a mess. Ive had all of the same problems as mentioned on vairous threads not only here but else where on the net
The super really sad part is i have a asus board and vid card. This is a very poorly executed program
Any program that runs is a good program
One that is desinged and not fixed that does not run is a poor display of corporate priorties on the products they sell.
In windows 7 not only i but many others have zero chance of uninstalling the program due to its imbedded nature with system files
So we are left to either hack our own systems or keep this poorly exectued program on your machines which im sure at somepoint will corrupt something else due to its impedded protocols such as deny user access to the programs in system properties
This isnt a windows issue this is who ever wrote the code put it in there. We can all blame things on our operating sytems at times
This isnt one of them
This is your software not microsofts or any other company, You are responsable to have it not only running 100% of the time
You are also responsable for the protocols you put in the code of a program. Alas this is a very sad thing for me and not only many others
But a super really bad sad thing for Asus
It is shyt like this that make people buy other products
Starting to feel very disatisfied with Asus once again
Provide me with a uninstall program for all the registry entries that are associated in any way shape or form of this malicious piece of shyt
software you developed.

GPU Tweak is like a virus. DO not use it!

I think a student made this application, (maybe due to high price, asus wanted to do that by giving less money).

Buggy UI
Voltage Problems

If you guys are so unsatisfied with GPU Tweak, how about not installing it at all? If you did install it, then just do a clean-install of your OS and don't install GPU Tweak after that...

lol... "then JUST do a clean install of your OS..."
are you serious???

I'd love to be able to uninstall it - but how?? Win7 wont allow me to... msconfig lists doesnt show it, yet, trying to stop in from Task Manager tells me access denied... and there doesnt seem to be an included uninstall application with the version Im running...

Yeap, I'm serious... some of these monitoring applications can really mess up your OS... if you don't want the trouble, the best way is to clean-install your OS...
