Asus critical update notification

I have the Rog g20cb for the past four days when i start my pc up i get the Asus critical update notification " new critical updates are available for your computer. ASUS strongly recommends that you install these updates now". The box is empty nothing under item or version. How do i get the mystery update or how do i get the notification to stop?

Uninstall the ASUS Live update app or disable it in startup.
Ive yet to get a single build over the past few years that actually updated, only got the same that you are.
Just check the support page periodically for updates. With your machine being a few years in theres little to be updated if anything.

I also have this issue, and have attempted to get assistance with tech support, so far the only thing they offered was "rollback my computer"

is there any fix in the works for this?

Same here, hope they'll fix this real soon, my OCD is kicking in big time!

Was told we're working on it, but didn't hear how much longer it will take.

Don't know if this will cause any problems, but if you're comfortable to open task scheduler, look in the Task Scheduler Library for the ASUS folder and check at the bottom for 'ASUS Updater' which under actions will be starting/running 'ASUSFourceUpdater.exe'.
You could miss some important updates later (?), but you can just disable this task for now, or disable/modify the triggers under the 'triggers' tab to get a break from the pop-up message.

Otherwise, if you prefer to wait, hopefully it will not take too much longer to resolve. Thanks.
