ASUS B550-F ROG MB RGB question

I searched and didn't see a thread on this..so...

I have a Phanteks case, the ROG B550-F mb...and I bought the fans pictured that came with a controller hub. It only hooks up via 2.0 USB on the board...am I reading it right when I googled, that I need to buy the TT Sync premium edition controller to have this work with AURA sync?

If so..I'm going to be annoyed. Bad enough this was 50+ bucks, but to have to get an additional item just for this...ugh...any help is appreciated!! (not sure why the pic posted sideways..its not on my PC)

Welcome to the ROG forum !

You'll need the TT controller to control RGB through Aura Sync but is not needed, you can also control it with the TT RGB Plus software.
