Armoury Crate - is this maintained?

Armoury Crate seems to be abandoned. Drivers are old, UEFI updates are old... At least for Maximus XI Extreme.
It seems that it is only wasting storage.

Agreed. Waited for months and noticed no updates on anything. Went to the website and several update done. It really is wasted. Uninstall.

I never used it. What did this software do?

This is an option in the bios of new motherboards, when enabled you will be asked to download and install an app that lists all software and bios updates for your motherboard and will download and install these updates at your discretion, not automatically.
As stated above it doesn't seem to be linked to the latest updates at this time.

And looking at past on Asus Software it will never be. Like LiveUpdate.
