Armoury Crate / Fan Xpert bug — Fan settings reset when Armoury Crate crashes

Hello,

I’m experiencing a recurring issue with Armoury Crate on my ASUS Z790-P motherboard.

Sometimes the software crashes on boot or randomly during the day, and when that happens, it seems to reset or break Fan Xpert settings:

• The GPU temperature sensor disappears from the fan curve options.

• The acceleration/deceleration settings for CHA_FAN1 are reset to max.

• My custom fan profile is no longer applied, and the fans ramp up noisily for no reason.

This usually happens either during system startup or right when Armoury Crate crashes or becomes unresponsive.

Has anyone else encountered this? Is there a fix or a way to lock fan settings independently of Armoury Crate?
