After installing the update, Fan Expert stopped working.
****** it, all I want from your crooked program is fan control! I want to sit in silence! And once again you make a "wonderful" update and again the settings fly off. And what's more, the wonderful service is now unavailable and reports with error F-1030 H-2004
I say - fire these idiots who wrote this crap!
There are standard Windows functions and interfaces, no need to invent anything! I have repeatedly corrected hardcoded paths C:\ProgramData and others. It should be on 😧 in my configuration. There is a function SHGetFolderPath that returns these paths. Don't your programmers know how to use it? Take this string from the registry! Or with an environment variable (%programfiles% %programdata% etc.)!
Make a separate utility for fan control, I will sanitize this terrible program and use this utilite.
