AISuite fails to start after Windows update KB4056892 (Intel vulnerability patch)

PerpetualCycle
Level 13
It fails to start with "The Sever Threw an Exception" Error box.

The services and AISuite executable appears to be actually running, but the AISuite GUI does not start.

Please fix Asus (should have been on top of this I would think).

guys, i have a p9x79 ws and i also dropped an email to asus complaining about AI suite II issue. i got a reply that they will contact me when they fix the issue on AI suite II. so there is still hope.

after this is fixed we could maybe start complaining about the NVME support on those older boards 🙂 if this guy within this thread was able to make it work by himselft. if it is true because he does not respond on the facebook ..

anyway gl to all

Sorry guys for posting here but I do not see any other Asus forum for this. I have X-99E WS mobo with Xeon processor, 128GB, 2xTitanX+GTX970 all watercooled. Since the Suite crash mobo watercoooling fans run always at maximum speed which drives me crazy. Installing new versions of the Suite does not show up GUI and thus it is useless. ASUS DO YOU HERE THE NOISE? Please do something to get it hushed for all your mobos!

You are lucky Sir, mine did the opposite, the fans didn't run fast enough, Water temps rose to 70c, and my hard-line tubing melted. What a mess.

Acrylic tubing would not melt at 70c lol, it has a 160c melting point and 260°C for petg.

We understand the ASUS is working on a solution for AI Suite II

Certainly good news for everyone!

I have received a PM from Asus Rog on Fb saying there is none coming.
I posted on their FB page and was told the same thing.
AND sent them an email and again was just told the same thing again today, that there is no update coming.
The only thing they are doing, is sending everyone that has older boards to the Ai suite 3 link, which i wish they would stop doing because we ALL know it doesnt work on older boards.
So, why are you posting they are updating when they havent even posted in this thread? If they were going to update, they would have said so themselves in this thread. So, why the disinfo?

Here is my proof :

Unfortunately, there will be no fixed for Al Suite II. May I suggest downloading and installing latest release fixed for Al Suite 3 Version 3.00.13 from this link: http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/Utility/AI_Suite_III_3.00.13_DIP5_1.05.13.zip?_ga=2.54018472.104...

NO UPDATE COMING!!!
PATHETIC ASUS

Dear all,

i have spoken with HQ.

"I’ve got a good news, Ai suite II will be supported before end of February to solve the issue.
Thank You"

So it takes time, but they will do an update. Have a nice day.

Hello everyone,

More than a week ago I sent an email to support ASUS to tell them that AI Suite 3 no longer started on my PC following the update of windows 10 (KB4056890), they told me answered that I had to give them the serial number of my motherboard and the model and since nothing.
If anyone has a solution for AI Suite 3 to work again I'm interested. For information my motherboard is an ASUS Z170-A (LGA1151) Rev version 1.xx

and yet, after me being told half a dozen times by about half a dozen different reps of Asus that there is no fix coming as it has reached its EOL.....i ask Asus, which is it? If you are fixing it then tell us on here, if no fix coming, then tell us on here! Or is that too hard to do?
As for me, since i am being told it wont be fixed, i am more inclined to believe them, over people that have only 1 or 2 posts on the forums

So they are waiting on new update from Microsoft maybe, cos AI Suite II technically worked before the update ?

Yes, Andrew gave the same response to our customers. Misinformation in that he appears to not understand that AI Suite III can not replace AI Suite II.
We can understand where the anger comes from when they are told their new board is EOL. We can only hope ASUS resolves this issue as soon as possible.

Some posters on this forum are getting PM to say that AI Suite II will be ready soon - we hope that this is true.
