AI suite III problems

I honestly never seen such crappy software in my life. in the past 4 months that i have had this mobo i had to keep a install folder and cleaner on my desktop because the software would fail at least every 3 weeks. i was using windows 8. i Just fresh installed windows 7 and i got this error twice during a windows update. .. remind you i used CCleaner and the aisuite cleaner. i deinstalled the software to fix it yet again and All i get is this.. You Must reboot this system to complete a previous installation. any help to fix this would be awesome. is asus going to make software that works properly? awesome boards. real horrible software

Yeah, it's not great and the only reason I use AI suite is because of Fan Expert 2. I wish they would make a standalone program of Fan Expert 2 so we wouldn't have to keep running AI Suite in the background.

I have found the problem solution ( Cant uninstall or install AI Suite )
I was getting ""you must reboot this system to complete a previous installation. After rebooting run the setup again" warning when i try to uninstall or install the program.

So here is the fix :

Go to :
C:\ProgramData\ASUS\AI Suite III (if you cant see ProgramData folder , disable hidden folders)

Delete :
"Lock" file

And try again uninstalling .

Extra (if you want) :
After uninstall , restart PC and go safe mode and use cleaner.exe ( http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread...te-III-Cleaner ) to clean everything . Restart . ( also download Ccleaner program - https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner - and clean registry for possible ai suite things )
Then install clean new version etc etc...

edit: i am not sure we need to delete C:\ProgramData\ASUS\ folder after uninstalling everything and safe mode cleaning. But try it also (make sure backup folder 1st).

Hi Chaps i have tryed everything, from uninstall, installing and a clean rebuild of which worked for a day and now i have uninstalled all asus software.

Has anyone got to root of this problem???

I have used this software also it's really best to just uninstall and never use it that's what I've done..
