Any update about this issue? I always get an access violation of dip4.dll when trying to use fan xpert, everything else work fine. Very frustrating.

No updates. Can't do much with posts that don't provide sufficient replication information.

Not much to do other than install the app, restart, use it once, restart again. Error begins to popup.

Same issue here.

Prerequisites:
- Asus Maximus Formula X + 8700K
- Windows 10 Pro x64

1. Install Windows
2. Install AI Suite 3 1.05.14 DIP5 thing
3. Setup a custom fan profile after rebooting the necessary number of times in FanXpert. Something dependent on Water In temperature or such.
4. Reboot.
5. FanXpert never works again and gives DIP4.dll crash. (Don't have exact copy as I uninstalled it all but something about memory access violation).
6. Uninstall, use AI cleaner
7. Repeat 1-6 replacing step 2 with - install 3.0 then 3.13 patch then 1.05.14
8. Repeat 1-6 replacing step 2 with - install 3.0 then 1.05.14 patch

Any more steps/details needed? We're really not doing anything radical here.

Thanks. What's the Windows build number?

Exact same procedure here, exact same outcome. Curiously I also have an Asus Maximus X Formula.

So has there been any explanation why CPU temp displayed in AI Suite is drastically lower than temps reported in other monitoring software?

Ever since the intel vulnerability patch and having to use this new AI Suite 3 I've been getting frame hitching in all my games. Every 5 seconds or so the game will hitch and skip a frame.

Rebooting fixes the issue for awhile but eventually it will return.

After installing v3.00.13 and DIP5 v1.05.14 my initial results were good (AI Suite was previously not working at all).

Unfortunately, I've started seeing frequent crashes of the "WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR (124)" variety. These have so far boiled down to DCACHEL0_WR_ERR errors when inspecting the dump file. Is there anything I should try to get some stability back?

Raja can you comment on why cpu temps reported in AI Suite 3 seem significantly lower than temps reported by virtually all other temp monitors?

Hi, anyone experiencing "the remote procedure call failed" during installation? I can't run the AI suite install or uninstall. AI suite remover didn't help either.

Could be a permissions issue. Might need elevated rights.
