Hi,

just a short question to AI Suite usability. Why all those user unfriendly view of the motherboard values are required?

e.g. Bottom Status Windows
Why is the software unable to decrease/increase in window size to see more information? I think most customers use a Monitor (or more) from full-hd up to 4k.
CPU Frequency, Voltage, Temperature, Fan are just in small windows at the bottom... if you click the triangle, view does not get better. You always need to scroll down every information! Also some information are cut down from the size of view.

e.g. Fan Expert:
You need to click left and right (wait 1-2 sec), that a "super effect" switch between your fans. That may 4-5 clicks to get to the fan you need. Why not having all fans on just one page to directly see/click the one you need.

Please Asus focus more on what this Software is for: An easy way for non experts to change settings and quickly see status information.

About the Fan Spin Up Time and Spin Down Time not working, I found this code in the profiles: (I have all spin up and down time set to 12 sec. in AI Suite)

Doesn't this code mean that sping up time and spin down is not the same as in AI Suite? Looks like no matter what you cnange in AI Suite will not change on the file/code.

Would it be suggested to install this on my system. The only service I am missing in Ai III is the CPU % in DIP5. Any benefit to installing the version ?

EDIT: A quick Google search, it seems this is for AMD processors. Am I correct ???

This version is identical to the original 3.00.13, barring a patch for the Ryzen power plan. If you're not using a Ryzen based system, there's no need to install the patched version.

Do you know when a patch will be out to fix the access violation errors that occur when opening up fan xpert? Its totally unusable right now and yes I've done a clean reinstall.

hello i have windows 10 version 1607 fully patched with both intel specter updates checked with specter checker.
8700k
ASUS X HERO latest bios 1003
all latest drivers
1080ti msi founders water cooled

no issues instaling asus ai suit dip5 1.314 goes good rebbot open it up all the options works just fine

BUT ...

if i go into fan expert 4 and let it detect my slowest fans for the fiorst time it works ! awsome !
reboot pc come back open asus ai suit i get the dreaded ...... wait for it ....
acsses vilaition dip4.dll and ai suit no longer works .

if i reinstal it and not use the fan expert part of it life is fine

i need fan expert as i want to change the 6 120m fans i have on my rad manualy in gaming profiles ......

whats the issue here ....

Not at present. If you want help with it you'll need to provide all relevant info, so that it can be replicated.

Any update about this issue? I always get an access violation of dip4.dll when trying to use fan xpert, everything else work fine. Very frustrating.
