Just got off the phone with Asus. They are aware of the issues, with AI Suite, including the beta version. "Engineering team is working on a fix." So, at the very least, they are aware this is an issue. IDK when a non beta fix will be out, but at least we should have a solution within the foreseeable future.

The Beta version is working fine on my rig, including FanXpert: both tuning & selecting profiles is working for me. On a side note: I installed the Beta on top of my previous AI Suite-never uninstalled or used any cleaners. Only component that causes memory violations & freezes the application when trying to launch it - AI Charger+ : "Access violation at address 07D0F349 in module "AIChargerPlus.dll". Write of address 00000000".

EDIT:
I also added an error with USB 3.0 Boost:

I downloaded the beta version from the google drive link. The other link did not work and said to try back in 16 hours. I just finished building and installing windows 10 on my new water cooled ROG Crosshair VI Hero motherboard. Like others have stated, today after the windows update, I got the "the server threw an exception" error. I really needed the fan xpert control, because the Q fan control in BIOS kept giving me CPU fan errors. I installed the beta version tonight and so far so good. I have fan xpert back!

This beta version fixed the problems that I had with the last Windows Update (AISuiteIII.exe stopped working).. Thanks!

I guess those of us rockin z77 boards are out of luck.

The Fan Expert settings I set in AI Suite II are still working, however the suite will not pull up, if I were to want to make any changes to fan curves etc. Oddly enough, I emailed an ASUS tech rep today, and they're telling people to uninstall the suite, and reinstall. I can't hardly believe that would actually work. Then again 20+ years building computers, it's been my experience ASUS has the worst RMA/Tech dept in the biz.

I just had to override the AI SUITE install with the beta fix and reboot my PC.
No uninstall nor AI cleaner needed.
All up just fine after I rebooted

I love Asus, but
The programs made by Asus are awful!
It is normal for them that the new version of the program is not cumulative and does not support the devices of the previous generation.
This is the first time that we can hope that we will get a version that supports everything from Z68 to X299. Very much I ask, keep this support and further!

Same issues as the rest of the asus family.
CPU usage is at 50-80% as well as 450.000 handles.

If anyone's got a solution please let me know. I'm uninstalling this version as it is more of a problem causer than a utility atm.
