Same error here. Running P9x79 Deluxe motherboard.

Greetings to all.

Please tell me when it will be able to control fans depending on the graphics card? And the same video card + CPU at the same time? This is not enough for a very long time!!!
2 The ability to add in the icon-bar, picto grams - the user profile for the fan control? Sure, like waiting for a lot of users.

Is there a solution in the plans?? Who knows what about this?

p.s. Sorry my English is bad, it is my native language.

I hope there will be a stable version soon for all boards.

If you don't want to try the beta.
You can still start asusminibar.exe to access the presets for fan and clock speeds, no graphical interface unfortunately. Just kill it afterwards with task manager to make it disappear off screen.
Perhaps this might help some people.

Installed this on my GRYPHON Z97 ARMOR EDITION, fan Xpert doesn't detect my assistant fan, keeps it at max rpm. Had to temporarily revert the patch so I could use the previous version. Please fix this.

BIOS 3401
installation beta OK
Pgm running (task manager)
No GUI --> no ability to see and act.

The software works but the power bar crash every time i use it

Hi guys,

I tried the beta and it BSODs my PC upon entering windows.

I followed the steps below:-
1- Created a Restore point in windows.
2- Disabled Corsair Link auto start-up.
3- Ran AI Suite Cleaner
4- Re-started PC
5- Unblocked & extracted the AI Suite 3 Beta -> Installed.
6- Restarted PC upon request.
7- Started first time, Auto Fan Tuned to my liking, Ran Optimization -> Restart
8- 28% OC achieved -> Clicked "Continue" -> BSOD.
9- Restarted -> BSODed upon entering windows. (did that 3 times)
10- restored Windows restore point.
11- Repeated Step 1-6. After 6 it immediately BSODed. without even showing me AI Suite 3 GUI like in Step 7. so Step 7 didn't happen again.
12- Repeated step 10, 1-6 again to confirm.. still BSODed.
13- Restored finally and did not repeat the process. no AI Suite 3 still.

System as follow:-
- Asus Rampage V Edition 10 (BIOS 1801)
- Intel Core i7 6900K (No OC because of no Fan control)
- 32 GB of DDR4 rams
- 2x Asus Strix 1080 Ti OC
- OS: Windows 10 Pro x64 ( Ver. 1709 Build 16299.192) with latest security updates (KB4056892)

It would be really appreciated if Asus can seperate Fan Xpert from AI Suite 3.. a stand alone Fan Xpert would be great

Asus kindly help
Thank you

So I finally got this beta installed. Took most of Saturday to get it up and running with the 0606 Prime Z370-A bios update (with the microcode patch) and Windows Meltdown patch.

What finally worked for me was clicking the "unblock" checkbox on the .ZIP file for the latest ASUS Aura, which then went through and installed. It was able to install a version of the ASUS COM Service that would actually run. Once that was in (after disabling Windows Defender Active Protection and putting in exclusion in for it as it kept restarting on it's own), then I could install AI Suite 3 beta 3.00.10.

Only have a couple of problems remaining... When AI Suite launches with the OS, I get a "Cannot open AsIO.sys !! (2)" message from the PE Updater program. I've since set it to run as administrator, so we'll see if that does it on next boot. Also when using AS Power Bar widget, I get a error stating: "Assertion failed: index < Count(), file src\asus\Sensor.cpp, line 1700".

So for now I've disabled the AS Power Bar and just control fans through Fan Xpert using the AI Suite system tray. If I can't get the PE Updater Application error fixed, I'll probably just uninstall that feature.

With that said, any help with either issue would be greatly appreciated.

Hi folks,

After the recent Microsoft patch in regards to the Meltdown & Spectre exploit, ASUS Utility Suite 3 (AUS3) stopped working (at least the User Interface refused to show up and it was showing an error mesage after login into Windows 10). My motherboard is a Sabertooth Z97 Mark 2.

I uninstalled the AUS3, rebooted, installed the Beta one, rebooted and the UI came up 🙂 , then after the one click fan "Tuning", all seems ok.

I did not play around with the Beta, a bit worried it will mess things up. The part that shows the different components Temperature seems to be a bit wrong, reporting everything at +10C more when usually its a lot cooler than that. At least I don't feel I have a Figter Jet in my living room anymore.

Anyone has experience with this Beta and same motherboard?*
