AI suite 3 problems

I just installed AI 3 and was playing around with it. i did the optimization and it bumped my cpu to 4.4 from the stock 4. i am only using the stock cooler on my 4790k so i don't want to mess around yet until i get my wc loop in. problem is when i set it back to stock and reboot it keeps going back to the 4.4 setting. what am i doing wrong

I'm not sure, from what I've read AI 3 resets overclocks on reboot. So unless you changed something in the bios yourself I don't think it's AI 3 thats doing it.
