AI Suite 3 is messing with my display sleep time and system sleep time

I noticed that AiSuite changes my power options on certain intervals when I set my display sleep timer (5 minutes) and system sleep timer (never). AI Suite 3 changes it to the AI Suite Power Saving Formula that's active.

So when the power saving formula is "high performance", the display sleep timer becomes 1 hour and the system sleep timer becomes 2 hours. When the power saving formula is set to "max power saving the display sleep timer becomes 30 minutes and the system sleep timer becomes 1 hour.

It took me some time to find that AI Suite 3 is causing this "bug/feature", but I would like to know how I can change the sleep timers in AI Suite, so that it doesn't change the values that I want.

I'm uising windows 8.1, but I assume that this also happens on other windows versions.

What the hell are you people doing??? It's been 4 years since this post.

I need to leave my computer running overnight, crunching numbers while I sleep. My only resort is to uninstall AI Suite or to use a 3rd party program like Caffeine to keep sending key presses to prevent the computer from going to sleep. This is ridiculous.

I am perfectly capable of adjusting my power plan settings from the windows options. GET IT OUT OF AI SUITE OR GIVE AN OPTION TO TURN IT OFF, NOW!

This is yet another reason I am getting highly frustrated with ASUS and unless you guys get your act together I'm not going to be buying any more Asus products in the future. 4 years to fix a stupid feature that shouldn't even be there in the first place???? What the hell are you guys doing???

I'm going to be checking this thread every few days and giving it bumps, and complaining on every possible forum I can, until this is fixed. Just FYI.

The newer versions of AI Suite III has an option to set sleep to Never under any of the power options. Works fine that way.

Ok, good. I thought I had the most recent version but still didn't see this option, will double check

I just downloaded and installed the latest version AFAIK, AI Suite v3.00.13 with DIP 10.5.14, I have no option to set the Sleep and Display settings to "Never" , 5 hours is the max it will allow. Which version are you using?
