AI Suite 3 is messing with my display sleep time and system sleep time

I noticed that AiSuite changes my power options on certain intervals when I set my display sleep timer (5 minutes) and system sleep timer (never). AI Suite 3 changes it to the AI Suite Power Saving Formula that's active.

So when the power saving formula is "high performance", the display sleep timer becomes 1 hour and the system sleep timer becomes 2 hours. When the power saving formula is set to "max power saving the display sleep timer becomes 30 minutes and the system sleep timer becomes 1 hour.

It took me some time to find that AI Suite 3 is causing this "bug/feature", but I would like to know how I can change the sleep timers in AI Suite, so that it doesn't change the values that I want.

I'm uising windows 8.1, but I assume that this also happens on other windows versions.

My machine 1) Runs as a server and 2) Takes overnight disk recovery snapshots.

None of these seem to work very well in sleep mode, so I have my power settings set so that sleep timeout is always never. It's not just annoying that AI Suite III overrides my Windows sleep timer setting, it's critical to my system's operation that it doesn't. It took a while to figure out that AI Suite was doing this, and there is ABSOLUTELY no reason for it to do it.

This is a bug and needs to be fixed ASAP.

I was searching for info on this and came across this thread.

Two things I am experiencing seems similar to what's been mentioned here :

1) Downloads break around the 2 hr mark caused by sleep in the power settings (that overrides Windows power setting)
2) System clock is always off. On resume from sleep it can be 3-4 hours off each time. Time is also off after overnight power off and then switch on in the morning.

Sucks. Using Z97 Pro (not ROG I knw) with Asus Suite III

I'd also like to request a 'sleep never' option for the same reasons.

At minimum I want a 'never sleep' option build in a new version !
But also I demand Asus does something about the '"auto override" of my systems power scheme settings !
The messing around is bad for my peace of mind ..
I can't disk check or wipe or slow format anything bigger then a 750GB disk before I run into the 5 hours alive limit. What on earth were they thinking over at Asus software creating department !
In the current situation I can only dream of successfully (without messing around from AI Suite III) check, clean, wipe, format a 3TB hard disk for physical errors ect. without fearing I find my system sleeping sooner then later.
I can't have my PC be turned on overnight to download a big torrent file ... or having my system seeding a torrent longer then 5 hours ! Is that what Asus calls providing software for customer convenience ?!
And I want this never sleep option implemented in all the different power saving formula's !!
Very bad I call this situation, very bad indeed and I have seen a lot of badly programmed software pass by in the past 16 years I have been buying Asus Mobo's.
I ran EPU 6 engine on my P7P55D-E Premium with great joy.
This current situation is a real nightmare and I am not dramatizing !
Very VERY VERY bad indeed.

There is a never sleep option. It took a while for me to find it as well but in the EPU settings if you slide the fader all way to the left it will set it to Never.

Are you absolutely sure about this !?
Make a screenshot if you can ??
I am not about to install this horror suite to find out someone mis interpreted an option.

Thanks !

Here it is. I've been testing this option for a couple days to make sure it stayed and so far it has.34782

Jubei I wonder if your CMOS battery is working correctly and a easy way to test this is do you have differences in time in the bios if you disconnect the power from the wall?
