AI Suite 3.00.13 with DIP5 1.05.14, AI Suite not functioning properly

I just set up this PC with an old RVE USB3.1 and after installing all software, including the Asus CD, and updating Windows 10 pro x64, I went on to download the latest updates from asus.com (damned it Asus, why can't you get EZ Update to inform about ALL, absolutely ALL, updates). After doing the updates, including DIP5 I started AI Suite, and I only get a window that shows AI Charger+, USB 3.1 Boost, EZ Update, System Information etc., not the usual window with DIP5, The fan expert and that stuff. Trying to reinstall AI Suite from the CD doesn't give me back the "old" panel. What do I need to do? Uninstall DIP5 1.05.14 and reinstall the old one, that came with the CD?
