So as it says in the title, it is my first time building a computer, and I wanted to know about drivers, for SATA drivers, what is the difference between the Asmedia, Intel, and Marvell? Are there different ports? Which ones should I get if I wanted to buy Maximum Pc's performance build? (http://www.maximumpc.com/build_pc_recommended_builds_june_2014)

Hi Sniper Panda and Welcome to ROG.

There are many combinations for High end builds, but the build you have cited is a budget build.

You will need to do some research to match your build and what you want to use your system for.

There are build configurators on certain sites to match your budget, Prefered CPU,MB,PSU,RAM and case and I believe TOM'S Hardware has one.

If you google ASMedia, Intel and Marvell, You can compare different sound quality aspects.
