I have had this problem with my GA503RM since I bought it a year back. Whenever I resume my laptop from hibernation and game on the Silent mode, I find that the power limits for the Silent mode are not followed (like the GPU power goes way over 55watts and the FPS cap of 60 also is not obeyed) and the laptop ends up overheating. It's as if the laptop doesn't obey the Silent mode settings. It becomes ok after the system is restarted. Are any others facing this problem too?
