Despite all this, the ARMORY CRATE / AURA CREATOR does not work.

1. Why are there 2 pieces of software - AuraSync CREATOR and Armory Crate? This can be very confusing for users, who just want to enjoy their new purchase and not fiddle around in Asus forums or reddit desperately trying to get this thing running,
Imagine combining the functionality of both in one, that actually worked.

2. Having a third app called "Uninstaller" instills a lot of "trust" in users, especially with the fact that and running this pops up about 200 cmd windows on the background, silently installs half a dozen of services hahaha just for RGB and fan control stuff, lmao, are you serious?

Huge huge friction for new customer onboarding, close to a joke.

Googled those and found a gazzilion users with issues, so this thing is clearly broken / non production worthy.



3. The mere fact that there is a special uninstall tool and a log collection tool speaks volumes, almost as if you are installing a second operating system on top of Windows, similar to bloatware from Adobe. Once installed, close to impossible to remove, without the specialized tool....

Why is this needed?

Oh and there is aa THIRD tool even for log collection Armoury_Crate_Lite_Log_Tool

Almost as if your users are betatesters for Asus, rather than customers, hahaha.


My feedback is
Remove the two programs and merge them into only one, that actually works.
Do not install it as a rootkit via BIOS, too intrusive.

The answer to this is Aura Sync. No bloat, just LEDs control.

But Asus decided to leave it and force users to use this suite.

I'm trying to install on 600 series and gets bsod while installing. But had a previous windows11 install with aura sync and just works fine on 600 series, so if we can get a workaround for bsod while installing, could be usable. Latest aura sync is 1.07.84 and doesn't have official support for 600 series.

Since bsod is related to AsIO.sys (aura sync service), maybe someone could take those files from armoury and replace on aura sync installer.

The "answer" is to not use any of those useless garbage apps whatsoever.
No matter aura sync, armory crate or aura creator, they are all utter garbage haha.

Well, you need software to control LEDs 😄

Aura Sync is way better than the armoury suite to control LEDs.

Never tried openrgb but I think still is not fully compatible with 600 series. Maybe is better option than Asus software.
