Hello everyone. Yet another issue with installing Armoury Crate. So specs first:
So machine runs fine. No issues. But as bloated as AC is, I did use it to control lighting, get firmware updates, make minor tweaks. Everything was working fine for a long time. Then it tried to update. And it failed. And it failed. I uninstalled (using the clean tool), even went through and deleted all Registry keys related to AC, deleted all local app data, turned off firewall, ran as administrator. Every time, it "installs", restarts the app, and gets stuck at 0% to install the actual components.
I have no way of controlling my lights (they have switched to default rainbow). I have uninstalled, clean uninstalled, restarted, redownloaded, you name it, I've tried it, and it always gets stuck at the same place.
If I try the full install suite and try to install manually, it eventually installs, but it doesn't give me any options for lighting (I can change the LCD on the AIO, but not the fan lights). I do not see the GPU or Mobo at all, even though I tell it to install the components into the software. It doesn't even give me the option to install Mobo, but I do tell it to install the GPU, but it doesn't show it.
Any suggestions?

Hi @BobFromFlorida
Prior to attempting to reinstall, can you see if the AC Service is present in Add & Remove, and then uninstall it?

- Motherboard: Z890 Maximus Extreme, 1901 BIOS, running Intel 285K
- ROG Strix LC III 360 ARGB LCD AIO cooler
- 5090 Astral GPU, air cooled OC version
- Running in a Hyperion tower case
- Latest Windows 11 Pro, 24H2 4351 (latest)
- All firmware up to date, ME, Intel stuff, everything

Likely hasn't updated all the needed components at that point. Has it updated to 6.2.7.0?

There is no Armoury Crate Service at all. Nor any of the motherboard, aura, etc. I'm guessing it hasn't updated all the components either, but I have no idea how to force it to do so.
