Windows 11 Smart app control blocks Get-AppxVersion.exe when checking updates

the system displayed a notification that something was blocked by Smart app control (https://i.imgur.com/8g6Klhk.png) and there was a link that I clicked on (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/smart-app-control-has-blocked-part-of-this-app-0729fff1-48...) I checked the logs and saw that it relates to Armoury Crate.
also the "Check service/HAL service version" option does not work (nothing happens when you click on the button.)

I was on the insider ring testing this when it was 1st released and my advice is to turn it off. It's a great idea with bad execution. Not being able to add apps to a whitelist is a bad move on the part of Microsoft. Even now, almost a year after its 1st preview the app still flags some Microsoft apps and won't let them run.
