Has happened a few times now that when there is an update avaliable for Fanexpert, the current version I have stops working. In the past I have been able to upgrade just that module to return it to be working. That is even while avoid an upgrade to the overall software as those tend to be buggy as hell at the start for versions.
This time I don't have that option as I get the dreaded 'Can't open AsIO.sys!!' popup evey few minutes, when I just upgrade the fanexpert module, or v6.2 for the overall software. So now even if I stay on the old version on code Asus have remotely broken my Fan control?
I have tried turning of windows firewall, but it does not help and fanxpert was fine before the module update dropped. Is it too much to ask to have fan control, even if I am not on the lastest version, that was working finre before the update dropped?
