Hi, two weeks ago I've got an asus mainboard, enabled Armoury Crate installation option in bios and installed it, everything was fine until a few days ago the app has been automatically update by windows store. Now it fails to load my motherboard and shows "Update failed (error code 0)" dialog during startup with two options: Reboot system or Exit update
Tried to reboot multiple time, uninstall and install the app with reboots in between, enabling/disabling win core isolation feature, but nothing helps. Please assist. Thank you.

Hello dnk8080
Try uninstalling Armoury Crate from windows.
Reboot your pc and install Armoury Crate version 3.2.11.2, it will update to version 5.9.9.0. - Armoury Crate - Support
How does this go?

Thank you
I've had some errors in Armoury Crate, but never had code 0. I'm not sure what it could be pointing to.
Are you able to use Armoury Crate after exiting the update? If you're able to use Armoury Crate, maybe try the update again periodically or in 24 hours.

Yes, I'm using it with ASUS TUF GAMING B650-PLUS mainboard, exiting an update allows to use basic app functions, but it cannot control mainboard parameters like fan speed, etc, and it doesn't show any mb info, so it's useless basically

I guess the issue is updating through the Microsoft store. I personally let Armoury Crate do the updating, I suppose that's why my version is 5.9.9.0.
If you're able to update to 5.9.9.0 instead of 5.9.13.0, see if this is any better.

3.2.11.2 from the link above automatically updates itself to 5.9.13.0 uwp during the installation and I'm pretty sure windows store will update 5.9.9.0 to the latest as well, so it doesn't make sense to downgrade

I'm wondering why yours wants to update to 5.9.13.0 while I'm still on 5.9.9.0, I haven't got any updates for 5.9.13.0 yet.
Have you by chance installed anything that would update through the Microsoft store? I only get updates through Armoury Crate.

If you could explain step by step how to install an old working version and stick to it, I'm fine with this solution. Unfortunately, your suggestions in the previous comment didn't work, the app gets updated to the lastest bugged version, as I have already mentioned.

Step one start pc boot into bios. Step two disable Armoury Crate in bios save and exit. Step three boot into windows. Step four go to Armoury Crate support page on Asus website. Be sure you are on the U.S. site if from the U.S. down load the Armoury Crate uninstaller from Website. Step five run uninstaller to remove all components of Armoury Crate. Restart pc. Step six go to Asus website support page for your motherboard. Under support look for apps/drivers/ utilities for your MB. Download Armoury Crate for your MB. Use show more button if appropriate on support page. Also check all drivers information on Asus website for the MB. (NOTE IF YOU HAVE EA GAME LOADING APPLICATION LOADING AT START UP OF WINDOWS IT WILL CRASH OUT ARMOURY CRATE).
Step seven install Armoury Crate that you downloaded from mother board support page. Being sure that any background applications are off. By using task manager. ' crtl, alt, del, will open it.
Step eight choose to not let Armoury Crate update automatically.
Step nine open up Armoury Crate test operation. If good restart pc allow windows to load all startup items except EA game app if you have. Neither EA or Asus have addressed the problem with EA/Armoury Crate.
