I’d like to see the same customization option in the Aura Sync Basic Effects for the Rainbow effect that’s available within Aura Creator. By that, I mean the manual adjustment of the color composition for the rainbow.
Alternatively, ensure any time a new ASUS product gets Aura Sync support within Armoury Crate, that it properly loads into Aura Creator as a device.
I have a cool custom rainbow effect I made in Creator that I’m unable to apply to newer ASUS products that do get detected by Armoury Crate but not Aura Creator. Thus, I’m currently limited to applying basic effects to my entire system if I want to sync the new device. My current workaround would be to use my custom effect on everything else but manually set a different effect on the new device. However, I can’t do custom rainbows outside of Creator.

Yeah I always find it weird that Rainbow on aura sync is limited to the 8 patterns only but you can customize the color of other effect. I know that there is Aura Creator for that but a basic "choose your colors" on the Rainbow effect should be there. In fact it should be easy to add it since the code and UI for it is ready and already availabe on every ROG keyboard I've tested so far, where you can add/remove colors on Rainbow effect easely on their Aura pages.
Edit: not to hijack your suggestion but something I was just thinking. If we can also have a way to change Aura effect without having to open Armoury Crate it would be fantastic since it tend to be slow to open even on high spec PC. I was thinking like a right click on the AC battery indicator on notification area (or overflow area) with an Aura Sync menu > Effects, or even better a way to to change it via command line or macros. it would be very nice.
