Before posting this i did my research to see if theres a fix to this... there isn't...
and it isn't a new issue as from what i found its been an issue since 2023...

judging from the above post, i too would like to request an option in the armory crate to be-able to turn off the profile switch hotkeys

to make it clear maybe altho i have large fingers, im not accidentally pressing spatha side buttons, im "literally" causing the mouse/armory crate to switch profiles (due to pressing a combination of the "profile switch hotkeys")
its extremely inconvenient when im in the middle of a "hunt" on a MMORPG game i play against high level monsters that can wipe me and my party fairly quickly once someone makes a mistake or two,
i've disabled side buttons i don't need, and the ones i do need / use have been re-binded to other keys .... but the "profile switch" is for lack of a better word seems hard-wired to be higher priority
i've tried everything, i've attempted syncing syncing all profiles, i've tried changing all profiles to use the same hotkey configs
altho switching profiles from 1 to 3 or 5 isn't a problem thanks to all the profiles have the same set up, the problem is while its switching profiles, the mouse uses what would be the default profile keys for a split second or before going to the next profile, which is a massive problem when your full boxing (surrounded) monsters
my settings are set to side buttons being a mix of AoE, single target attacks and support abilities, and the "dpi switch" is rebinded to f4 which i use to heal myself. which is all well and good when im pressing for example, "dpi switch > f4", and side button..... 4
would by themselves do something like "draw aggro or heal" but if i need to heal at the same time the monsters have retargetted my party and i need to recast the skill to draw aggro.... instead of it doing both heal, and aggro... it instead switchs profile....
i "could" use a different hotkey to heal,,, but that would mean making it harder, and having to retrain my muscle memory to use something else,,,

Issue - the ROG Spatha X's "hardwired / built in memory" profile switching is causing problems,
have i looked for if there is a solution - yes, but not that i've found, and the same headache with profile switching as been an issue since 2023,
Trigger / whats happening - in moments where i have to press the DPI switch (rebinded to another key) AND one of the side buttons at the same time, it triggers the "hard-wired" profile switch hotkey to cause armory crate and/or the mouse to switch profiles, which isn't 100% a problem (thanks to having all profiles set to use binds) however, during the "split second - 1 second" delay between switching it can be a problem when you need to focus absolutely and completely
Request - is there a way to stop profile switching, or is there a way to turn off / disable / forcefully prevent profile switching from happening
