Revert back Armoury Crate to v3.2.6.1 to fix the Corsair light sync issue on RGB memory RAM modules

Hello ROGs!!!!

I had the same issue. I updated Armoury Crate to version 6.1.13.0 and I lost the light sync from the Corsair 2x16GB RGB memory ram.

The solution is to revert back to the previous Armoury Crate version (while we can, so hurry up!).

    1) Download the Armoury Crate uninstaller and run it (as administrator) and restart your pc. Get the uninstaller from here. (It is at the bottom of the page). Armoury Crate - Support

    2) Download the Lite package (approx. 2 MB) Armoury Crate version: v3.2.6.1 updated: 04.11.2023 from the main Armoury Crate site. Just go to the page, and scroll down until you see the Download button.

    3) Install new Armoury Crate (it is the old version 3.2.6.1). On first run of the app you will be asked to update to the faulty 6.1.13.0 version. Tick "Never ask me to update this version" followed by clicking Cancel.

    4) Install the Corsair CorsairPluginForAuraSync. I cannot find it on Corsair webpage. I have stored on my drive. Reboot.

    5) Open Corsair iCue and Aprove the request.This is so Aura sync have permission to control the ram lighting.

    6) Make sure iCue is not running at Windows startup. On Task Manager, disable icue.

And that's it. Everything will be as before. It has worked for me. The Corsair RGB ram is synced with all other lighting devices managed from Armoury Crate.

 

Just remember to never update to Armoury Crate v6.1.13.0. Or at least until we are sure the light sync issue is resolved.

 

Only problem is that we are downloading the old version from a Lite package. This means that we actually do not have control over what version we are downloading. It is automatic from the ASUS cloud server.

 

By now it seems that the downloader has yet not been updated to the latest buggy version 6.1.13.0. Thus letting us install again the old good Armoury Crate version.

This will change soon I am pretty sure so hurry up and download the old version while we can!

It's a little bit to extreme to revert to a really old version of AC just for that. You can keep 6.1 version and use the simple workaround to restart corsair device service in "services" menu of Windows 11.

@Lanz, thanks for the tip. Did you mean Stop or Restart the service. I can't seem to find the delete button to delete the service

Yeah, I've been trying for the last couple of days intensively to get everything to sync. 
I wish everything would've worked. I had a similar solution, but without using icue. 
Everything worked for couple of days, installed my aio today, and everything broke out of nowhere. 

Thanks @Lanz, your solution might be the easiest till they fix it.

Faulty for me aswell!
Cant even find any more devices. Can only find RAM and not "Lightning strips" and "Motherboard" they are magically gone it seems.,
Something has broken.

I can control my motherboard, AIO etc lightning via 3rd party software "Signal" but not with Armory Crate.

Any beta versions or other fixes available?

Hi you put back your old armore creat old verzie and its works i m make same its works good

 

Uninstalled Armory Crate 6.1.13.0 and installed 5.9.9!
Now everything works again! Even the ARGB!

Attention to everyone! Never ever install/upgrade to 6.1.13.0 its Major broken!
