Problem with loading after clicking on device (Theta 7.1)

PitViper

I get a loading screen that goes on forever and a message pops up behind the loading wheel and I can't read what it says because it's blurry, and can't click on it because the loading wheel is in front of it. I has a button on it that looks like OK but I just can't click it. This happened after a firmware update to the head set. Used the uninstall tool and reinstalled but no luck. Just got the Theta 7.1 now I can't change the sound settings, otherwise they work fine. Armoury Crate is detecting them and every thing looks fine in the device manager. Any ideas? 91679

Hi PitViper,

Do you get the same as in the video with an infinite red spinning circle?

If yes, use the Armoury Crate Uninstall tool and reinstall Armoury Crate.

Select your operating system then click show all, it's the second download.

Does it work ok after reinstalling?

Hello PitViper,I think the first question is did the uninstall report success?
Same question on reinstall.
Can you check the windows event log-application log for errors? It might shed some light.

Yes the uninstall completed, the install does have issues the first time, rebooted and then it worked. I'll try again. I Installed it on a different PC and it works fine.

The only errors I see are

This crashing service is undoubtedly the reason it wont load the page. I think its fine to try reinstalling again. Â*

Spent about 8 hours trying to fix it. Gave up and reinstalled windows. Sad too because that was a pretty new install. Anyway it's working now.
