I think it might be helpful if you take a look at this
https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?126019 thread, and check the items it talks about in the first paragraphs It involves checking that asus startup services are working. If you find any problems let us know. I might be able to walk you through some things to get it working. So check that first paragraph and then come back and tell us what you find.
