Keyboard Backlight Issue After Armoury Crate 6.3.6.0 Update

I'm currently using the ROG Flow Z13 GZ301VV running Windows 11 25H2 with BIOS version 316. After updating Armoury Crate to version 6.3.6.0, I've encountered a persistent issue with the keyboard backlight.

Details:

• The backlight only turns on if I disconnect and reconnect the keyboard, or toggle the lighting switch in Armoury Crate.
• Aura Sync is not functioning — only standard lighting modes are available.
• After every reboot or shutdown, the backlight stops working again and requires manual intervention.

I’ve restored my system to a point before the update and reverted to Armoury Crate version 6.2.7.0, which works perfectly.

I have the same issue.

System recovery to Armoury Crate v.6.3.4 resolved the problem.

I found following differences in software versions:

• Asus Windows Dynamic Lighting plug-in 7.4.0.0 (vs 7.8.0.0 in new version)
• Xbox 360 controller emulation 1.0.0.13 (vs 1.0.0.15 in new version)
• Asus core SDK 2.01.45 (vs v.2.01.46 in new version)

But unfortunately, Armoury Crate automatically updated again and following system recovery leads to auto update lunching right after Armoury Crate starts even with internet disconnected.

So, I see solutions in:

1. Find and delete downloaded updates and disable update checking
2. Find Armoury Crate 6.3.4 installation package
3. Change Asus Windows Dynamic Lighting plug-in to previous version

All my actions to do any of it was not successful.

Can somebody help me with any of this solutions?

I’ve managed to resolve the keyboard backlight issue by reinstalling Armoury Crate version 6.2.11.0 (Full Installation Package). This version restores the backlight functionality and works reliably.

Just a heads-up — the installation process might take a little longer than usual, as the package needs to be fully extracted before setup begins. Once installed, everything should be back to normal.

I’ve also disabled automatic updates for Armoury Crate for now via Microsoft Store Settings, to avoid the issue recurring until the AC team releases an official fix. When a stable update becomes available, I’ll post an update on this forum to keep everyone informed.

Same issue .on other forum says you could try g helper . I thought is the keyboard's problem hopefully it wasn't.I think I'll just wait for AC's new update

Hey how do you uninstall armoury crate completely? I used the uninstall tool but it still says i have armoury crate installed.
