I can't update device & component #ROG STRIX SCOPE NX (ERROR CODE:4151)

Sorry to hear resetting your keyboard didn't work.

Here's a few more things to try.

1) Disconnect and reconnect your keyboard and try the update.

2) Uninstall your keyboard from device manager, reboot and try the update.

3) Use the Armoury Crate uninstall tool to uninstall Armoury Crate. In the link below select your operating system, click "Show all" in blue, the uninstall tool is the third download.

Once uninstalled, install Armoury Crate version 3.2.7.2 (first download), then go to the update center and check for updates.

Option 3 suggested by Nate. I had to uninstall Armoury Crate, restart, then reinstall, using the newest version with a full install.

Hello RexWoo,

Were you able to get your ROG Strix Scope NX updated?

Try resetting your keyboard by pressing and holding the Fn+Esc keys for 10-15 seconds, then try the update in Armoury Crate.

Recently I bought the ROG STRIX SCOPE TKL, 2 weeks ago to be exact. The default software "Rog Armoury" doesn't let me change the aura sync. I try to control in "Armoury Crate" and happens the same problem, cant control de keyboard (RGB) and now the actualization gave me the same error code. Can´t control the keyboard even actualization and reset not works.

Hello,

I bought my  ROG STRIX SCOPE RX two days ago and installed it yesterday (7/14/23).  I ran all the updates until I also got this error code.  I tried restarting my computer multiple times, but then I got error code 4151.  I tried the reset you listed, but that didn't fix the issue.  Please help!STRIX Error Code 4151.jpg

 

Same issue for me. Did you ever get a solution that works?
