I recently build my new PC with a ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING WI-FI II mobo but when i try to install Armoury Crate to install the drivers, i got a message telling me that i have to uninstall Armoury Crate and try it again (error code 238). I can do this tens of time but still get the same error message and i don't know what to do, I tried to delete all Asus files in "ProgramData" of my computer and try again and when I do that i got the same message but with the error code "4102" instead. Could anyone helpe me please ?
(sorry for my bad English btw)

Have you tried using official Armory Uninstall tool?

Armoury Crate version 6 no longer installs drivers.
There's a new way to do this:
https://driverhub.asus.com
You can then search for drivers there.
Please note, however, that it only displays drivers that are already available on your motherboard's website.
Motherboard manufacturers only sporadically update drivers for older motherboards.
Therefore, my tip: download the latest drivers either from the chip manufacturer, in your case AMD, or here in the MoKiChU forum to stay up-to-date.
So, if you have unknown devices in the Device Manager, drivers are missing, and ArmouryCrate may refuse to install them.

I think what he meant was he wanted to install AC with the intention to install drivers.
Funnily enough, I also couldn't install AC...
Uninstall tool also didn't help.
1 day old fresh Windows 11 OS install by the way. :x

OK, then I must have misunderstood that.
However, you still can't install drivers with ArmouryCrate version 6, because, as already described, it now runs via an external link and is only linked that way in AC. Of course, if AC isn't installed, you won't find Asus' DriverHub.
That's why I included the link here.
It's better to download drivers either from the motherboard's support page (although motherboard manufacturers don't always update drivers) or from the chip manufacturer (Intel, AMD, etc.), or here in the forum at @MoKiChU.
And you couldn't install AC either?
Very strange.
I've recently reinstalled Windows (currently Windows 11 24H2 Build 26100.4061) several times due to other problems with ArmouryCrate, but I was always able to install it.
However, I always install the hardware drivers after Windows and don't rely on Windows Update.
In addition, no unknown devices should appear in the device manager, as this would mean missing drivers.
Although this shouldn't bother ArmouryCrate much, unless it doesn't recognize the Asus hardware due to missing drivers.
Well, if the ArmouryCrate installation doesn't complete, the uninstaller tool won't help either.
Therefore, it would be helpful to provide more detailed information, such as error messages, etc.
One question:
What kind of motherboard do you have exactly?
On current Asus motherboards, ArmouryCrate is actually integrated into the UEFI and is offered for installation after a fresh install of Windows and during the first boot after Windows installation.
At least, that's how it was with my z790 motherboard so far.
Unless you disabled it in the UEFI.

As of writing this, I found one potential solution is to either run the uninstaller or reset windows FOLLOWED BY installing AC SPECIFICALLY from the MS store. This method did not fail once, so far -- it installs a later version of AC V5, not V6.
Before this I made a dozen or so unsuccessful install attempts (including several Windows 11 reinstalls) with antivirus and firewall turned off -- so these did not help.
x870e crosshair hero, by the way.
I remember getting the initial setups for AC when I was on z790 :x -- but for x870e I only get the driver hub message.

Same on here. With the B650 Tuf MB, clean win10 installation. It says failed on installing armoury crate at the very beggining of the setup. I also use the uninstallation tool but nothing seems to be fixed unfortunately. I can use ms for installing AC but, why did i get the installation fails twice after the fresh installs. Interesting.

This must be due to Asus and their servers where the installation files come from, because they are only downloaded when you run the setup.
I had the same problem a few days ago. I only managed to install after I aborted everything after the error message and simply ran the installation again.
Only you can test whether it works, or you can try downloading the Armoury Crate Full Installation Package 1.4.4.3 from Asus.
You can find it here: https://www.asus.com/supportonly/armoury%20crate/helpdesk_download/
(just click on "Show All").
This should get you to at least version 6.1.13.0, even if the text says otherwise, because the installation files are from March 2025, when 6.1.13.0 was released.

interestingly i downloaded the full package you mentioned about. and it gave me the same installation error but somehow i think about that why didnt i run this as an administrator and suprisingly it didnt give any errors while running the setup.
if anybody facing with the same error, just try to run as administrator. maybe it'll be the solution somehow 🙂
and also thank you @inge70 for the response
