Faulting application AacAmbientLighting.exe and Armoury Crate v5.7.9

I am a long time Asus lover, but my patience is severely being tested with Armoury Crate - after issues with earlier versions of Armoury Crate there was a period of stability, and with the latest version of Armoury Crate (v5.7.9.0) I am now getting intermittent crashes with the AacAmbientLighting.exe component on a Z13.

Asus - please bug test your applications!!!!!!!!!!! and better still - ASK users before updating their version of the application!!!!!

it will automatically get updated right? after the reboot or we have to do it ourselves cuz still i cannot find the new update in my AC

Thanks for giving us regular updates regarding the issue. Really appreciate it. Although, I wud like to point out that I do not see any new updates available in AC yet. I used the "Check for updates" option in "Update Center".  ASUS WDL HAL still shows as version 1.9.0.0.

Replying to my previous post where I said I did not receive any updates yet:

I have now received the new updates in AC after they went live. I have updated the ASUS WDL HAL to latest version. Hope the problems get resolved now.

See this would be fine, but here is the kicker: because this isn’t working, my PC refuses to open ANYTHING, including a browser, to reinstall it. So i am kind of stuck in limbo

Can you restart in safe mode and do an uninstall?

Regards from Italy, i got this issue too and the solution proposed (i.e uninstall and then reinstall latest Armoury Crate version) doesn't work for me.

Randomly my system based on an Asus Strix X-570-F keep crashing wiht black screen and SSD led constantly blinking.
