When will this be fixed?

It worked until around August, but since then the heatsink fan has been grayed out and always rotates at maximum speed.
To be precise, it seems that the heatsink fan cannot be recognized by the OS.
I have no choice, so I disable Xpart and use FanControl.

Seriously Asus, how bloody hard can it be to fix the issues with Fan Xpert, issues that did not exist until August? Even the latest version of Armoury Crate released in the last day fails to resolve issues!
Whatever changes were rolled out in August caused my issues with others reporting the same and while I understand that not everyone is having issues, there are enough people who are to warrant the ability to rollback to a version that worked for them. There is nothing more frustrating then to have things working well, being forced to update, then having those updates break things.
I seriously regret investing in the purchase of Asus components for my build and will probably consider other brands in future.
I doubt anyone from Asus will read this let alone take any action to really fix the issues anytime soon, but one can only hope. I feel better for venting and sometimes knowing that others are in the same situation makes me feel better about my own.

Bunch of recent updates, including Fan Xpert (Oct 16th). Still broken, same error: S-1001. Tried full uninstall with uninstall tool, reinstall with latest installer. No dice.

Updated on Z790 Extreme and FanXpert still doesn't work. Same error S-1001

HI! I had the same annoying problem about fan xpert didn't work in Armoury Crate after uninstall and reinstall all the asustek software (AI suite, services, rog, etc...). I even changed the factory rgb controller for another one and also changed the fan dc connection to another mother board socket.
Finally, I've solved the problem by disabling Fan Xpert fan control switch in order to control fans from bios. I've entered Bios by pressing F2 and set the CHA FAN channel of the fans to PWM instead of autodetect and in inmediately fans changed from full speed to the selected on Q control of the bios. Once changes saved and computer restarted, I've reactivated Fan Xpert fan control switch and tuned again fan speed, and now I can change fan speed with armoury crate controls without any issues.
In my case I have an Asus TUF GAMING B760M Plus Wifi mother board
I've noticed that argb controller cable has only 2 wire instead fans have 3 or four pins. This could be the reason because bios fan autodetect fails on settings the appropriate method

Asus makes great hardware but the software is truly terrible. I made all my hardware asus to control it all with a single program. My hardware is listed below. I installed Armory Crate and Armory Crate, but Asus manages to break something with every update, congratulations. However, I really regret it, I will DEFINITELY not buy ASUS hardware from now on.
