Fan Expert Feature Requests

Hi there

Here are some suggestions for Fan Expert which I think will make it better.

Firstly, there are four "profiles" shown at the top, Silent, Standard, Turbo and Full Speed. It would be good to have some explanation of exactly what each of these modes do either as an "i" popup or a link to a help page (I cannot find any mention of them in the AC PDF manual). Then, when you click on one of them, and it loads its settings, there is no way to tell which profile you have engaged, so it would be great if the chosen profile icon remains highlighted in some way, to show which profile you're currently running. I appreciate that you then may make further tweaks to the settings, in which case perhaps either the icon could lose its highlight or the word "customised" could be shown in brackets after the profile name.

Secondly it would be great if the Load/Save Fan Group Setting could behave more like a standard OS. For example, I save a setting, calling it "Default", now suppose I tweak it and want to overwrite it, in a standard OS, when I hit Save, I'd be able to see any previous filenames, click them and then be prompted to confirm the overwrite. AC doesn't do this, instead it simply asks for a name, and it you try to supply the same filename (in order to overwrite your settings file), it won't let you! It says "Filename already exists. Please try another". So now you have to click the folder icon, and first delete the settings file, then save it again under your chosen name. Very tedious. Further, there is no Save As option as there would be in a standard OS.

Thanks!

Jeremy
