Error 0x800706D9 When Updating Armoury Crate

Hello,

I'm having trouble updating my Armoury Crate application to the latest version. My current version is 5.9.4.0. In the update center, it shows that a new version is available, but when I attempt to update, the application starts downloading, and then I get an error message:

"System.Exception: There are no more endpoints available from the endpoint mapper. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800706D9)"

I would appreciate any help or guidance on how to successfully update the application. Has anyone encountered this issue before?

Hello

After reading your post, I checked my Armoury Crate and got the new 5.9.9.0 update as well, I didn't have any issues updating.

It might be worthwhile to reinstall Armoury Crate.

Uninstall Armoury Crate from windows.

Restart your pc and install Armoury Crate version 3.2.11.2, it will update to 5.9.9.0. - Armoury Crate - Support (asus.com)

Hello,

Thank you for your suggestion. I followed your steps by uninstalling Armoury Crate, restarting my PC, and installing version 3.2.11.2. The application updated to version 5.9.4.0, but I’m unable to update it to version 5.9.9.0. The same error keeps appearing.

I also tried using an older installer (1.0.3.6) and updating from there, but that didn’t work either. Any other suggestions?

Thanks!

I was experiencing issues with updating the Armoury Crate app. Every time I tried, the update would fail, and none of the standard troubleshooting methods seemed to work. I tried reinstalling the app, clearing caches, and updating drivers, but nothing helped.

Eventually, I decided to reinstall Windows, and that turned out to be the solution. After performing a fresh installation of the operating system and reinstalling Armoury Crate, the update went through successfully without any further issues.

If anyone else is facing similar problems, I would recommend considering a full Windows reinstallation to resolve the issue.
