Crate V6.2.7.0 and memory lighting

New version same problem. Memory is not working correctly as usual. Installation was hit or miss as well. Rebooted and fan xpert 4 seems to work but I have not rebooted  since running fan calibration so I don't know yet for sure. Things may change again in the next few days after a few reboots anyway.

Same problem. After updating to the new version, no devices are detected on Armoury Crate anymore. I also get an error when uninstalling with the uninstaller, it doesn't uninstall at all, even after rebooting. A joke of a software, such a software from such a company is really mediocre. It gets worse with every update.

If FanXpert 4 isn't running properly, the fans are running based on the fan curve in the BIOS/UEFI.
This can be easily checked with HwInfo.

But before the Armoury Crate 6.2.7.0 update, did you also only control the RAM RGB with AuraSync in ArmouryCrate, or was there other software from your GSKILL-RAM manufacturer (Trident Z or simular) involved?

For me, it was the other way around.
With version 6.1.13.0, everything worked.
With version 6.1.18.0, ArmouryCrate constantly "forgot" the RGB devices while using the PC.
Only with version 6.2.7.0 did it work normally again.

OK, I don't let AC control my Corsair RAM, because initially in 2023, it always required iCue in the background, which I didn't want.
So I set my Corsair RAM to the desired color once and saved it in the RAM's memory (it works), then uninstalled iCue again, and since then, it's remained fixed at that color.

The rest of the RGB hardware (motherboard, GPU, and fans) is set to "Smart" in AuraSync. They only change color based on the CPU temperature: above 50 degrees Celsius: yellow, and above 80 degrees Celsius: red.

Since I rarely reach the yellow range, everything is always my Nvidia green color.

I don't run additional software to control lighting. Always relied on crate for that. I thought at one point that values might be getting pulled from the bios to run fan xpert 4 but I have never had issues accessing the page for that in the past. Lighting seems to be working correctly for the first time in months this morning after an update for my Encore MB but what will happen a few days from now? I have this as well trying to access the fan xpert page this morning, and it is a NEW picture:

It looks like FanXpert4 is unable to retrieve data from the UEFI because it says no internet access/access is possible: 127.0.0.1..

Are there any error messages in the Reliability History and Event Log in Windows?

The following components are installed in Armoury Crate 6.2.7.0:

These versions were also already present in AC 6.1.18.0 and 6.1.13.0, so they are not dependent on version 6.2.7.0.

The error must be something else in Armoury Crate if FanXpert 4 ran fine before the current 6.2.7.0 update.

There's probably only one option left at the moment: uninstall Armoury Crate with the Uninstaller Tool 2.2.16.0, check Windows services to see if everything is gone, restart the PC, and reinstall Armoury Crate with the Armoury Crate Full Installation Package 1.4.4.3 (on the website you click on "Show All", then you wi....

I'd at least try that instead of the Installer Tool 3.3.1.0.

I'd give that a try.

Beforehand, check that all your drivers (chipset, etc.) are up to date.
You can find the latest drivers here at @MoKiChU.

You can monitor your fans, etc., with HwInfo to see if they're at least running.
Until your problem is resolved, I'd set a fan curve in the UEFI to ensure that everything runs smoothly.

Well, my internet connection is fine. Fan xpert 4 has been flaky the last few updates that you mention. I have already uninstalled and reinstalled twice without and change in behavior. My drivers are all updated based on what is available for download at the website for the MB. Appreciate your response. Thank you!

Hopper, at this point, and given that other Z790 users aren't seeing this, have you considered reinstalling the OS - or at least installing a dummy OS to rule out something that's not being caught by reinstalling the application?

Ok. I had time yesterday to reinstall windows Scone and the same 2 major issues persist. Lighting on the memory and fan Xpert do not function correctly. With the rebuild, the server evidently only offers version 6.2.7.0 at this time. Fresh install, no change.
